Tell me about your Homecoming weekend! If you didn't participate in the Homecoming festivities, what did you do? Share pics!

This weekend, I didn't actually go to Homecoming. Instead, I dyed my hair red, watched American Horror Story with my boyfriend and worked. Seeing all of my friends' Homecoming pictures made me wish I had gone, but I had a lot of fun at work that night, my boss was is a very good mood, and I made a lot of money, since it was a busy Saturday. I was excited to dye my hair red because it's my favorite hair color and I was getting very tired of the black hair I had, but my hair still isn't as bright as I want it to be eventually. Sunday night, I went to dinner with my boyfriends family, and then we went back to his house and watched the last two episodes of American Horror Story's first season.

Below is one of my favorite quotes that I found on Pinterest. Think read and think about what this says and then blog about it. What does this quote mean to you? Elaborate! Feel free to give an example of tell a story.

To me, this quote stands out quite a lot. I work at a job where, if I'm not cleaning, piercing or working with clients, there's nothing to do but sit around. My boss and mentors have always said that "bored" is a word that should never leave your mouth. "If you're bored, there are a million different things you can do, or I can make a mess and give you something to do." It used to annoy me so much, and I was constantly being cautious to never say bored around them, but after a couple of months, boredom wasn't something I focused on, or allowed myself to feel. There are so many things you could do to keep yourself occupied, that boredom can't be an issue.

How do you express your creativity? Explain.

Creativity to me, is the way a person expresses themselves, or chooses to do everyday things in life. I express my creativity through a lot of my drawings. I also express my creativity in the tattoos I have, the piercings I have and the basic way of how I look, such as my hair colors.

What did you do this weekend? Share pictures if you have them

This weekend I worked all day Friday night and all day Saturday night. Yesterday, I got a third job at the Applebee's in Grandview. I also went to the Black Stone Cherry and Theory of a Deadman concert at the Midland, with my friend Zach. We were there until 11 and we both had a lot of fun.

Tell me about what you have learned in this class so far. Have you learned a lot? Do you want to learn more? What do you want to be able to do by the end of the semester?

So far, I've learned a lot about how to code html documents and how the basics of a webpage works. This class has made me feel a lot more capable on the computer and I know a lot more about how everything works together to create the pages we normally see, such as Google or blogger. Working on pages like Notepad ++, and being able to successfully link pages back and forth, or change the color and font, and feeling comfortable on my ability to do it, has made me feel a lot smarter with technology than I did before I entered the class. I'd like to learn more and feel comfortable with the more difficult parts of coding webpages, such as how to size pictures, or add working videos, audio, etc.

Tell me all about your Labor Day weekend. What did you do? Include photos!

My Labor Day weekend, I worked all day Saturday and had dinner with my boyfriends family. Surprisingly, it went really well. On Sunday, my friends Zach, James, my boyfriend Cameron and I all got up early and drove to the Omaha Zoo. It was one of the better weekends I've had in a long time, and we all really enjoyed the zoo. We spent about four or five hours there and then we drove back home.
